HISTORY

1988

·        The Parent Teacher Association of Medical College, Kottayam came into existence on 03.09.1988. Dr. Sara Varghese, the then Principal took an initiative to rejuvenate the same. Professor Kuriakose remarked that the previous PTA constituted of only parents of the first year students and suggested that the parents of all the students may take part in the activities. For the effective functioning of the PTA a Constitution is needed and he has presented a draft constitution which he had prepared for discussion.
