4. Evaluation of glaucoma, Automated perimetry ,Surgical treatment for 

    glaucoma.

5. Squint evaluation & treatment including surgery

6. LASER treatment for glaucoma and P.C.O

7. Corneal transplantation, Management of most of eye diseases

8. Soon laser machine for diabetic retinopathy and other retinal disease will be 

   acquired by the department

9. Mobile eye unit conducting camps in the district and neighbouring districts 

    and patients are operated in the medical college.

Kottayam Opthalmic Society conducts CME's every two months in which the department is one of the main participants.
